Every year, the Day of Prayer for the Peace of Jerusalem (DPPJ) is celebrated on the first Sunday of October in churches and prayer ministries around the world. This global day of prayer is co-chaired by Dr. Jack Hayford and Dr. Robert Stearns.
For many years Aglow has participated in this strategic prayer effort. We hope that your local Aglow group will join this global chorus of prayer on October 4, 2020, as millions of believers from 175 nations around the world pray together for the peace of Jerusalem!
The Bible clearly calls all believers to pray for the peace of Jerusalem (Psalm 122:6, Isaiah 62:6). All Christians have a biblical mandate and responsibility to pray for the city over which Jesus wept, the city to which He will soon return. The current crisis over Jerusalem has global ramifications and impact, and will only be fully resolved by God working through the prayers of His people.
