His Joy – Our Strength

This morning when I woke up, I clearly heard the Holy Spirit speak a very familiar scripture to me.
“The joy of the Lord is your strength.” It's really the only strength we need. Because when His strength comes into us, it infuses us physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally. We have been invaded by heaven, and that makes a difference. Even though it's very familiar, let me just share the Scripture with you. It begins by saying, “Do not grieve.” Oh, I had forgotten that part. I just picked up the joy part. But actually, there are times when there are grievous things in our lives. Something that comes to us that is painful, or a difficult living situation, or whatever. Don't grieve. You know what I hear in that? It's like don't waste your time over there.
Don't give your energy to that. Listen to this. Don't grieve because the joy of the Lord is your strength. It's like He's saying, I’m coming to give you an injection of faith, of joy, of life, of strength, of vigor, of whatever it is you need. I'm coming to give you that. He gives us that by His very life within us. It's not an outward thing that comes to us, but it's an activation of the Person of Christ within us. So that Scripture says, “Don't grieve. The joy of the Lord is your strength.” It goes on to say, despite difficulties and overwhelming circumstances, do not grieve for the joy of the Lord is your strength.
He knows exactly what you're walking in. He knows what hurts you, or concerns you, what causes maybe anxiety, or a sense of angst. He's saying, I see you right there in the midst of that, but I want you to not grieve, not focus on that, not grieve over what's taking place. Lift up your heart. Lift up your head. Lift up your hands. Lift up your spirit and enter into the joy of the Lord. Because in that expression of joy you will find strength for your days.
We can step into that because of His character, because of who He is, what He has promised, and how He has made Himself known to us. He's asking us to step into that in greater and greater ways so that our position, our posture of faith, is becoming enlarged day, day, day after day. Don't grieve. Enter into the joy of the Lord. It is your portion. Let's do it.

Prophetic Declarations
From the moment they are spoken, prophetic words belong to us and must become as real in our hearts as they are in the heart of God. As the prophetic word is spoken, see God standing in the future, speaking back to you in the present. He is telling you who you are becoming. Be encouraged!

Something of heaven, by Heaven and for heaven, has been being crafted and brought forth within you and within his church. Something has been being worked out and hammered into place, and a strong stance of authority that has been forged in you is now ready to emerge. In the book of Isaiah, chapter 54, in verse 13 says, “You shall establish yourself in righteousness, in conformity with God's will and order. You shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, for you shall not fear. You shall be far from terror, for it shall not come near you. Behold, they may gather together and stir up strife. But it is not of Me, says the Lord, for whoever stirs up strife against you shall fail and surrender to you everything. For behold, I have created the Smith who blows on the fires of coals and who produces a weapon.” God is saying to this group into this ministry tonight. You don't just have a weapon. You are a Weapon!
- Father, there is no weapon in the enemy’s camp that can compare to the strength of the weapon You have formed me to be in Your Almighty Hand!
- Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid. For the Lord God is my strength and song, and He has become my salvation. Isaiah 12:2
Surrounding the Nations in Prayer – Strike Down the Threat
January 2025 began with an act of terrorism in the US. There could be many trained fighters throughout the world prepared to carry out similar attacks. God is our Hope. God is our Protector. God is our Refuge. God is our Victory. We have prayed around the borders of our nations, our communities, our homes. Continue to declare the Glory of the Lord as the protector of all that concerns you. We decree and declare that evil threats of terrorism against the nations of the world are thwarted by the Mighty Hand of God as we pray.
- Pray to expose and dismantle terrorist sleeper cells in your nation and around the world.
- Lord, send Angelic Warriors to guard the gateways and vulnerable sites of our nations. Release the Gifts of Your Spirit to give Your people Words of Knowledge and Wisdom to expose danger and find safety.
- Pray for the protection of the innocent – especially those who are vulnerable and without the means to protect themselves.
- The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in from this time forth, and even forevermore. Psalm 121:7-8
Summon the Nations!
Aglow Int’l is called to take the Light of Jesus, bring hope and build the Kingdom in all communities, cities and nations.
Look! You will summon nations you’ve never heard of. Nations who have never heard of you will come running to follow you because Yahweh, your God, the Holy One of Israel, has glorified you. – Isaiah 55:5 TPT
Anti-Human Trafficking – Watch and Pray!
Large public gatherings such as sporting events or busy shopping districts attract human traffickers to hunt for vulnerable people, especially young people and children.
- Holy Spirit, open our eyes and give us discernment to see and help people who are vulnerable to traffickers.
- Pray for exposure of trafficking at events such as the Super Bowl football game and Mardi Gras parties. Pray that criminals will be brought to justice.
- Pray for law enforcement and ministries who are helping victims of trafficking. Pray they have the resources necessary to rescue and minister restoration.
- Lord, dismantle the strategies of darkness to sell people in sex trafficking. Dismantle spirits of financial greed and lust that lead to trafficking. SET THE CAPTIVE FREE!
Aglow in the Gates of Nations
We are praying for Aglow to be affiliated in every nation of the world. We are very close to reaching that goal. Let’s continue to move forward together, a company of champions and global leaders of significance, to see Every nation touched, every heart changed.
- Declare Awakening throughout these nations of the earth!
- Lord, empower Aglow people in these nations to hasten Your Great Awakening.
- Pray for passion to fulfill Jesus’ apostolic commission to establish the Kingdom of God in each nation.
- Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. – Matthew 28:19-20
- We decree that the Great Commissions of Christ WILL be fulfilled!
- Pray there is an opening for Aglow International to cultivate a presence in every nation that creates an atmosphere of celebration, impartation and restoration.
- Pray for Christians in every nation to grow in courage and an overcoming spirit.
- Pray also for these nations of Africa where Aglow has a presence. Pray for a greater influence for the Kingdom of Heaven. Pray for new leaders to arise. Pray for younger generations as they respond to the call of leadership in Aglow:

A Note and A Prayer
Luke 10:1 says, “After these things the Lord appointed seventy others also, and sent them two by two before His face into every city and place where He Himself was about to go.” The Lord is very intentional when He sends us out to share the gospel and bring the goodness of His Kingdom to those in our nations. When He stirs your heart to go somewhere in ministry or to plan a way to reach a particular group of people, it’s because He has a plan. He has already planned to bring His Glory into that place. He has already planned to share His love and goodness with those people. We don’t have to try to make something happen – Jesus is already planning to bring His Light into darkness and His Glory into the life of people. So, ask Him, “Lord, where are you about to go in my nation?” Then go to that place, pray for those people, expect Him to give you opportunities and strategies to partner with Him.
Lord, where are You about to go in the world? Where are You about to go in our communities? We want to do what You are doing! We want to go where You are going? Here we are, Lord, send us! As You send Aglow women and men throughout the world carrying Your Presence, the good news of Your gospel, Your love, anoint each one with a fresh fire from Your altar. Keep us always, “Aglow and burning with Your Spirit!”
